crowdSPRING is alive!

I am very happy to announce the fact that I have been working as a founding team member at a stellar early-stage startup in Chicago since November of 2007.

crowdSPRING is a global marketplace for digital creative services and today we launched our closed beta, as well as a public project -- design our homepage!

I am very honored to be working with a bright and focused team and I am very happy to finally have the chance to shout this from the rooftops.  We have a long road ahead of us.  We are only halfway there, you ain't seen nothing yet!

I Have Officially Lost Faith in Facebook

Below is an email I just received from Facebook.

Social News for February 14, 2008

Here is what your friends think about...

... your strengths:

#4 person who can drink the most
#6 best scientist
#8 best to hang out with for a day

... your weaknesses:

#27 most outgoing
#28 most famous

(#number represents your ranking among your friends in certain category)

Click here to see your full list or to see your friends' strengths and weaknesses.

Obviously #4 and #6 are dead on. Regardless, I think it's time to cash out Zuckerberg. How could you be passionate about a platform that outputs such garbage? In other news, I'm not dead -- just busy. More on that soon.
